Handheld Bottle
A water bottle equipped with a strap to secure it to the runner's hand for easy carrying.
What is a Handheld Bottle?
A Handheld Bottle is a simple solution for carrying fluid on shorter to medium runs. It features a fabric strap that wraps around your hand, allowing you to relax your grip without dropping the bottle.
Advantages
- Simplicity: No clips, belts, or straps to chafe your body.
- Capacity: Usually holds 300ml - 600ml, perfect for 1-2 hour runs.
- Storage: Most straps have a small pocket for a key, card, or one energy gel.
Disadvantages
- Imbalance: Holding weight in one hand can slightly alter your arm swing. Some runners switch hands periodically.
- Limited Volume: Not enough for very long or unsupported runs.
