The Power of Spectators
Spectators are the unsung heroes of race day. Their energy can lift a runner out of a dark mental place.
Classic Signs
- "Touch here for power" (usually a Mario star).
- "Smile if you peed a little."
- "Worst Parade Ever."
- "You're running better than the government."
Etiquette
- Don't cross the course without looking.
- Don't smoke near the runners (we are breathing hard!).
- Do yell names if they are printed on the bib.
