Spectators are the unsung heroes of race day. Their energy can lift a runner out of a dark mental place.

Classic Signs

• "Touch here for power" (usually a Mario star).
• "Smile if you peed a little."
• "Worst Parade Ever."
• "You're running better than the government."

Etiquette

• Don't cross the course without looking.
• Don't smoke near the runners (we are breathing hard!).
• Do yell names if they are printed on the bib.
