Runner's FOMO

FOMO hits hard during marathon season. You might be injured, taking a break, or just didn't get into the lottery. Scrolling through Strava or Instagram and seeing everyone else hitting PBs or collecting medals can be mentally tough.

How to Cope

  • Unplug: Stay off social media for the weekend.
  • Volunteer: Go support a race instead. It cures FOMO by making you part of the event without the suffering.
  • Focus on Recovery: Remember why you are resting.
