Brick
A triathlon workout consisting of two disciplines (usually Bike + Run) done back-to-back to simulate race conditions.
What is a Brick Workout?
A Brick usually refers to a Bike-to-Run workout. You ride hard, then immediately hop off the bike and start running.
Why is it called a Brick?
Because your legs feel like heavy bricks for the first mile of the run. Your body has to switch from the circular motion of pedaling to the impact of running, and the blood flow needs to redistribute.
